What follows is an introduction to some basic information about the pigtail connector for the battery pack.

The pin and contact configuration on the pigtailed multi-pin connector of the MWD battery pack will vary depending on the MWD tool being used.

There are two common types of pigtail multi-pin connectors for MWD battery packs: 6P/4S and 4P/6S.

6P/4S: This configuration has six power pins and four signal pins.

4P/6S: This configuration has four power pins and six signal pins.

The battery pack we show is 15 Socket MDM to 6P/4S Kintec. There are also some other models, such as: 21 Socket MDM to 6P/4S Kintec, 15 Socket MDM to 4P/6S Kintec, etc.
